MOTHER, DAUGHTER DUO GRADUATE FROM EMCC TOGETHER IN PURSUIT OF NURSING CAREERS

Mathiston resident Dennisia Batts, at left, and her daughter, Kylie Brown, both graduated from 91视频 last December. Batts completed the Associate Degree Nursing program on the college鈥檚 Golden Triangle campus. Brown earned an associate degree in general studies and enrolled this semester in the Practical Nursing program on EMCC鈥檚 Scooba campus.

It's been a little more than a month since Dennisia Batts and her daughter, Kylie Brown, graduated from 91视频. For Batts, her Dec. 5 graduation from the Associate Degree Nursing program on EMCC's Golden Triangle campus was the culmination of a protracted educational journey fraught with obstacles, heartbreak and, ultimately, joy.
