BELHAVEN UNIVERSITY AND MACC STREAMLINE PROCESS FOR TEACHER EDUCATION DEGREE

Belhaven University and the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges signed an articulation agreement that allows students at Mississippi鈥檚 15 community colleges to transfer into Belhaven University鈥檚 Bachelor of Science program in Elementary Teacher Education. EMCC President Dr. Scott Alsobrooks, back row third from left attended the signing, as did presidents and representatives from the state鈥檚 other community colleges. Seated at the signing are, from left, Belhaven University Provost, Dr. Audrey Kelleher; Belhaven University President, Dr. Roger Parrott; MACC Chairman, and Holmes Community College President, Dr. Jim Haffey and Belhaven University鈥檚 Dean of the School of Education, Dr. David Hand.

Belhaven University and the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges (MACC) have signed an agreement that provides Mississippi community college students a seamless pathway to earning their Bachelor of Science in Elementary Teacher Education.
