NURSING, EMT & PARAMEDIC STUDENTS PREPARE FOR CORONAVIRUS

Students in 91视频鈥檚 Division of Nursing and Allied Health programs participate in a large-scale emergency medical simulation in the Lyceum Auditorium on the college鈥檚 Golden Triangle campus in early March, prior to social distancing  efforts in the state to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

While some alumni of 91视频's Division of Nursing and Allied Health programs are actively involved in the battle against the coronavirus, students currently enrolled in those programs are preparing in case they are needed after graduation to enter the fray.

EMCC INSTRUCTORS ADAPT TEACHING METHODS FOR ONLINE CLASSES

Like other colleges and universities in the state, 91视频, under guidance of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges and the Mississippi Community College Board, transitioned campus classes to online on March 23 to comply with social distancing guidelines necessitated by the coronavirus. More


91视频 students enrolled in at least 12 hours for the fall 2019 term and 12 hours for the spring 2020 term will have Pell Grant available for the summer 2020 term, but to be eligible they must enroll in at least six hours during the summer term.
